Change a Default Style Guide for a Language

Style Guides allow you to set your brand's Style Guide for each specific language you are localizing into. This will be accessible to translators when they open the CAT Tool to translate your content into the target language.

As an Account Owner or Project Manager, you can customize the default Style Guide for each language assigned to a project, allowing you to create language-specific Style Guides.

To change the Default Style Guide for a language:

1. Go to a project
2. Click the Settings tab
3. On the left side, click Languages to enter the Language Configuration
4. Click the hyperlinked Style Guide name under the Style Guide column
5. In the dialog that appears, select a new default Style Guide from the dropdown

When adding a new language to a project, you can set the default Style Guide for the new language at the time it is added.
