A separate Invites tab in Smartling's Team Dashboard allows you to view and manage all user invites.
This tab displays a list view of all invited users, i.e. individual users who were added to your Smartling account, but have not yet clicked on the activation link in the invitation email and completed the registration process.
Tip: As Smartling's invitation email is sent from a "noreply" email address, ensure to check Spam and make noreply@smartling.com a safe sender to your mailbox.
Managing user invitations
From the Invites tab, you can take the following actions on invited users:
- Copy invitation link: When a user gets invited to Smartling, our invitation email contains a registration link that needs to be opened to complete the account setup. If a user experiences issues with receiving Smartling's invitation email, the registration link can be copied here, and sent manually to the invited user. For more information about possible reasons and solutions for undelivered user invites, visit our FAQ.
- Resend: Send a new invitation email to the invited user. To finalize the registration process, the invited user will need to click on the activation link in Smartling's invitation email and complete their account setup.
- Cancel: Cancel the invite. The user will no longer be able to register their Smartling account, and will be removed from the Invites list.
To manage an individual user invite:
- Go to Team > Users > Invites
- Click on the ellipses under the Actions column for the invite you want to manage
- Click Resend to re-deliver an invitation email to the new user
- Click Cancel to remove it from your account and prevent any delivered invitations from being used
- Click Copy invitation link to copy the registration link
- To change the user's role or assignments, click on their email address to access all user details
To take bulk actions:
- Go to Team > Users > Invites
- Click the check box next to the invited users you want to manage
- From the Actions menu, select the desired action
- Click Resend to re-deliver an invitation email to the new user
- Click Cancel to remove the invited user from your account and prevent any delivered invitations from being used
