Job Attachments allow content owners to upload any reference files to a Job for additional context for Translators or Agencies. The Job attachment is accessible to all users who have access to the Job in the Jobs dashboard and in the CAT Tool.
Job attachment files are non-translatable and do not go through the translation workflow or count in word count estimates.
You can now view any attachments that are an image file type, simply by clicking the file name to open the image in the panel.

User Permissions
- Upload: Any user role may upload and attach any file to a Job from the dashboard and CAT Tool.
- View and Download: Any user role who has access to the Job may view and download any file attached to a Job from the dashboard and CAT Tool.
- Delete: Only Account Owners and Project Managers can delete any file attached to a Job. Requesters can only delete the files they have uploaded.
Supported File Types and Limits
- File types: Any file type can be attached to a Job.
- Maximum file size: 500 MB
- Maximum file attachments: Up to 50 attachments per Job
Finding Job Attachments in the Jobs Dashboard

Access your Jobs Dashboard
- Job Attachments are indicated by a paperclip icon, under the Job Name column
- Job Attachments are indicated by a paperclip icon, under the Job Name column

Click the paperclip icon to open the Job Attachment dialog where you can:
- View a list of all attachments for the Job
- Open the attachment, by clicking the filename (image files only)
- Add another attachment to the Job, by clicking Upload Attachment
- Remove the attachment, by clicking Delete
- Download the attachment, by clicking Download
Download Job Attachments in the Jobs Dashboard
In the Job Attachment dialog:
- Click the hyperlinked file name to download the Job Attachment locally
Upload Job Attachments in the Jobs Dashboard
In the Job Attachment dialog:
- Click the Upload Attachment to upload a file to the Job
- Click Browse to open your locale drive and select a file to attach
- Uploading an attachment requires the file to upload and an optional description
- Click Upload
Content Owners can access your Job Attachment from the Job Details page or the CAT Tool.
Finding Job Attachments in the CAT Tool
Any user who has access to the Job in the CAT Tool can view, download, or upload Job Attachments.
Job attachments are located in Additional Details, beside Attachments in the CAT Tool
Viewing, downloading, or uploading Job Attachments in the CAT Tool
Click the Job Attachments tab to view a list of all attachments for the Job. You can upload another attachment or delete any from the list.
For any attachments that are an image file type, click the file name to open the image in the panel. This works nicely alongside visual contrast to provide additional visual aid to linguists.
Alternatively, under Additional Details, next to Attachments, click Add/View Job Attachment

This will open the same Job Attachments dialog, where users can;
- View and Download the attachment: click the attachment name
- Upload another attachment: click Upload Attachment
