The Sendwithus connector allows you to translate Sendwithus Emails in Smartling. Translations are requested from within Sendwithus, and translated content is automatically sent to your Sendwithus instance.
The connector supports translation of email template content.
To link your Sendwithus account, complete all sections below.
Request Access to the Smartling Integration in Sendwithus
- From within your Sendwithus account, click Beta > Translations > Smartling.
- Click Request Access.
Sendwithus will grant you access to the Smartling connector.
Generate Smartling API Key
- Create a Resource File type project.
- From within Smartling, click on API in the top navigation.
- Select the v1.0 tab.
- Select your newly created Resource File type project from the drop down list.
- Click Generate New API Key.
- Click Confirm.
If you click Confirm, your current API key will stop working and you will have to update your API integration code.
Copy down your API Key and Project ID. You will need this to complete your setup within Sendwithus.
Configure API Key in Sendwithus
After Sendwithus has granted you access to the Smartling integration, configure your API Key.
- From within your Sendwithus account, click Beta > Translations > Smartling.
- Enter your Smartling API Key and Project ID.
- Click Save.
