This article is for Account Owners and Project Managers.
If you need to supplement your style guide with additional files, you can:
- Add a document: Upload files to Smartling which can then be associated with your style guide.
- Add a link: Add a web link to a file.
Attach a Document (New Experience)
- Go to Account Settings > Linguistic Assets.
- Under Assets, click Style Guides.
- Next to the style guide to edit, in the Actions column, click the pencil icon.
- In the dialog that appears, click Add Document.
- Drag and drop the document or or browse to upload it. Click Close.
- Click Save Changes.
Attach a Document (Classic)
- Go to Projects (select a project) > Content > Style Guide.
- Click Edit Style Guide.
- Within the Attachments section, click Add Document. The Add Style Guide Attachment dialog box will appear.
- Drag and drop or browse to upload your file(s). Click Close.
- Within the Attachments section, you'll see the added file(s). Click Save Changes.
On the Project Style Guide page, you'll see the attached file(s) listed under Attachments.
Add a Link (New Experience)
- Go to Account Settings > Linguistic Assets.
- Under Assets, click Style Guides.
- Next to the style guide to edit, in the Actions column, click the pencil icon.
- In the dialog that appears, click Add Link.
- Enter a URL and a Label.
- Close the dialog and click Save Changes.
Add a Link (Classic)
- Go to Projects (select a project) > Content > Style Guide.
- Click Edit Style Guide.
- Within the Attachments section, click Add Link. The Add Style Guide Attachment dialog box will appear.
- Insert the URL to your web-based document.
- In the Label field, enter text to display (instead of the URL path).
- Click + to add more links.
- Click Close.
- Within the Attachments section, you'll see the added link(s). Click Save Changes.
On the Project Style Guide page, you'll see the link(s) listed under Attachments.
