Sometimes you need to confirm which Sanity documents you are selecting for translation in Smartling, and the details in the asset list are not enough. The app link takes you directly from Smartling to the document in Sanity.
You must first configure the Sanity Studio URL in the Sanity Connector settings of your Smartling project for the app link icons to appear.

Accessing the app link
The app link appears in the following locations in your Smartling Sanity project:
Sanity asset list
- Go to your Sanity (Fields) project in Smartling.
- Click the Sanity (Fields) tab to open the asset list.
Asset details page
- Go to your Sanity (Fields) project in Smartling.
- Click the Sanity (Fields) tab to open the asset list.
- Click the information icon.
Linked entries dialog
- Go to your Sanity (Fields) project in Smartling.
- Click the Sanity (Fields) tab to open the asset list.
- Click the information icon.
- If the asset has linked entries, click the hyperlinked number next to Linked Entries.
This opens the Linked Entries dialog, which lists all related entries in Sanity.
When you're ready to translate, return to Smartling and follow the steps to Request Translation.
