Smartling provides a reliable, flexible and innovative framework for translation with neural machine translation engines and Large Language Models. The following video tutorials will provide an overview of how machine translation can be configured in three steps.
Step 1: Create an MT Profile
To use Machine Translation in Smartling, you first need to set up an MT Profile.
You can choose your preferred Neural Machine Translation engine or Large Language Model, use Smartling Auto Select or even trained MT engines.
Step 2: Customize your MT Profile
Your MT Profile can be customized by integrating your Linguistic Assets (such as your Glossary, Style Guide and Translation Memory) or by setting up custom rules. This helps ensure that the translation output will adhere to your brand terminology, your desired level of formality and your translation preferences.
Step 3: Profile mapping
Each MT Profile can be mapped to the exact workflows or integrations that you would like to use Machine Translations for.
