Export a Glossary

You can perform a bulk-update to an existing glossary by exporting the glossary, updating it locally, and re-importing the updated file. Exporting a glossary can be a quick way to update existing terms, upload new terms, and remove old terms.

Export a Glossary (New Experience)

  1. Go to Account Settings > Linguistic Assets.
  2. Under Assets, click Glossaries.
  3. In the Actions column, click the three dots next to the glossary you want to export and select Export.
  4. From the Export Glossary dialog box, select your preferred file format (Excel, CSV, or TBX).
  5. (Optional) If you are exporting the glossary to add additional languages, select them.
  6. Click Export Glossary.

Export a Glossary (Classic)

  1. Go to Assets > Glossaries.
  2. With the Actions column, click the more icon next to the glossary you wish to export and select Export.
  3. From the Export Glossary dialog box, select your preferred file format (Excel, CSV, or TBX).
  4. If you are exporting the glossary to add additional languages, select the target language(s) for which you want to apply the glossary.
  5. Click Export Glossary.

Only Excel or CSV files are accepted for updates from file upload
